Introduction

Dizito is a social media scheduling platform that allows users to connect and manage their social media accounts across supported platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Google Business Profile.

Information We Collect

• Name and email address.
• Social account identifiers and profile names.
• OAuth access and refresh tokens provided by supported platforms, including Google.
• Account, page, location, and profile information needed to connect supported platforms.
• Content and media uploaded for scheduling.
• Scheduling preferences, publishing results, errors, and publishing history.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your account and connect social media profiles you choose.
• To schedule and publish content on your behalf when you request it.
• To display connected account or location choices and maintain connection status.
• To show publishing results, errors, and activity history and help troubleshoot failures.
• To secure, maintain, and improve the Dizito service.

Social Media Authentication

Dizito uses the official authorization flows provided by supported platforms, including Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Google. Dizito does not ask for or collect your social media account password. You authorize each platform directly and can manage that authorization through the platform and, where available, Dizito.

Access Tokens

OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are used to maintain the connections you authorize and perform requested platform actions. Dizito stores social credentials in encrypted form in its database and limits their use to the operation of the connected integration. Tokens are not used to advertise to you or sold to third parties.

Google Business Profile Data

When you choose to connect Google Business Profile, Google asks you to authorize Dizito through Google OAuth. Dizito requests the Google Business Profile management permission (business.manage) to identify eligible business profiles and locations associated with your Google account and to carry out publishing actions you initiate or schedule.

Depending on the connection and publishing features you use, Dizito may process your Google account profile details, business profile and location identifiers and names, connection credentials, selected location, content you provide, and publishing status or error information returned by Google. This information is used to connect the profile you select, publish content on your instructions, maintain connection health, and show publishing history and troubleshooting information.

Dizito does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Google Business Profile data is not used for purposes unrelated to providing, securing, and improving the user-requested publishing service. We do not allow people to read this data except where necessary to operate the service, provide support, comply with law, or protect the service and its users.

Google connection credentials and selected profile/location information are stored in Dizito's database; social credentials are stored in encrypted form. Access is limited to the application functions that need the data. We retain connected-account information while the connection is active and as needed to provide publishing history, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Content and publishing history created in Dizito may remain in your Dizito account after a Google connection is removed unless you request deletion of that content or account or a longer retention is required by law.

You can disconnect a Google Business Profile connection from Dizito where that option is available, or revoke Dizito's access from your Google Account security settings. When a connection is removed, Dizito should no longer use its credentials for future publishing. To request deletion of associated personal data, contact contact@dizito.in. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, or legitimate operational recordkeeping.

Data Sharing

Dizito does not sell or rent personal information. Data is sent to the platform you connect only as needed to provide features you request, such as publishing content to Google Business Profile or another connected social platform. We may use service providers that host or operate parts of Dizito, and may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the service, users, or others.

Pinterest API Data and Disconnects

Dizito uses the Pinterest API only after a user explicitly authorizes the connection through Pinterest OAuth. We use Pinterest-derived account and board information only to identify the user's connected Pinterest Business account, schedule or publish content requested by the user, and maintain connection status and publishing history.

Dizito is an independent service and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Pinterest.

When a user disconnects a Pinterest account from Dizito, we remove the stored Pinterest access credentials and Pinterest account and board identifiers associated with that connection, and remove the associated pending OAuth session data. We do not retain Pinterest passwords. Content that the user created in Dizito may remain as part of the user's Dizito content history unless the user also requests deletion of that Dizito content or account.

Data Deletion

Users may disconnect connected social accounts at any time where the platform integration provides that option. Users may also request deletion of their Dizito account and associated personal data by contacting us at contact@dizito.in. Requests are reviewed and processed subject to applicable legal, security, and operational retention requirements.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect user data and access credentials, including encryption of stored social credentials. No online service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
